Book Review: Chandler

Title:  Chandler

Author:  Laurelin Paige

Series: The Fixed Series – Book 4

Release Date: September 20, 2016

Smoking hot trysts – check.  A super sweet hero – check.  Ambitious and savvy heroine – check!

The youngest Pierce is all grown up and demanding respect not only from his family, but in the boardroom as well.   While attending an event for Pierce Industries, Chandler meets the bewitching Genevieve Fasbender.   Their undeniable chemistry soon leads to unexpected family drama.

I went into this book with really lofty expectations.   The Fixed Series is one of my all-time favs and I’ve been yearning for more Hudson.  Sadly, Chandler is the exact opposite of Hudson.  Although that’s true, this was still a good read.  It’s light, quick, and sexy.

The writing is great.  Both main characters, Chandler and Genevieve, are likable and relatable.  The pace was pretty fast and there was minimal angst.  I was able to read it in a day.  The book provides glimpses of all our favorite characters (and some not so favored ones) from the previous books.   There were a few ticky little things I didn’t particularly enjoy, but overall the book is enjoyable.  If you’re a fan of the series, this may not be exactly what you’re expecting, but it doesn’t disappoint.  4 Solid Stars!!
